  1. *** Biomorph Evolution Program ***

  4. This is an attempt to replicate the program described by
  5. Richard Dawkins in his book 'The Blind Watchmaker'.
  6. For a full description of what the program is meant to
  7. achieve and what it is capable of I would refer you to
  8. that book.
  9. Briefly, the prog displays six fractal patterns and by
  10. pressing keys '1' to '6' the user selects the 'best'
  11. shape. This is then replicated five times with slight
  12. variations in the fractal control data. In this way many
  13. interesting shapes can be evolved. I would think you would
  14. have to read the book to get the most out of the prog and
  15. I would also recommend Dawkins' other book 'The Selfish Gene'.
